The time has come . . .
Ok - I've said it. It's out there in writing. As of May 21, 2012, I am flimsy-paper-card-carrying-member of Weight Watchers! And you know what? So far, I LOVE IT! That may be the nerdy, techie girl in me speaking, but the electronic tracking got me. Sucked me in and is keeping me there. Is that all it took? Had I only known sooner. Will it last?
I hope so! Come with me and see!
UPDATE: March 17, 2013: 43 weeks, and I made my goal! Weight loss at goal, 61.6 pounds - 29.2%!
UPDATE: April 28, 2013: I'm a LIFETIME member now!
Weight loss to date: 73.2 pounds

Recipe Requests

So if anyone is out there really reading this, let me ask you. Do you have any stand-by, "go to", favorite recipes or meals you love? Don't misunderstand, I still am not tired of my Chinese Chicken Salad, but that is only one meal. Add to that, I am only one person at home. A lot of recipes I come accross make way too much for me. I don't mind making a week's worth of extra meals, but beyond that I just don't have room for in my freezer.
I would love to hear your favorites! Please share!

  1. Have you tried the Chili Lime Chicken Burger patties from Trader Joes? Only 2 points then add a bun for 3 points to total of 5pts. I think they are delicious and very satisfying when you get tired of salad. Add onion, tomato, lettuce and you don't feel like your dieting!

    1. Funny you mention those - I am having another one tonight! They are tasty but the ones I really love are the Stuffing' Gourmet brand from QVC. They are excellent! Mine was a variety pack of 3 flavors: Double cheese/bacon, vegetable stuffed, and BBQ Glazed. Each flavor was better than the other! They range from 3 to 6 points but are so worth it. I never even used a bun . . .
